Mash Schedule
Mash with 4 quarts of water at 154° for 60 minutes. Batch sparge to 3.5 gallon boil size.
Notes
- 7/4/08 – Pitched at 72°. OG was 1.056
- 7/18/08 – Transferred to secondary. FG was 1.018
Finished with the perfect color for a brown. Just light enough that you can see light through the glass. The coffee flavor was also just right. It was a tad sweet, which I think hid the coffee a little.
